Lay-by is a simple payment arrangement that lets you reserve a product by paying a deposit upfront, and then settle the remaining balance in equal monthly instalments over the following months. There is no interest, no credit check, and no complicated application process.

Once your final payment is made, your item is yours — shipped to your door or ready for collection in store.

How It Works — Step by Step

Our lay-by process has been designed to be as simple and transparent as possible. Here is exactly what to expect:

1 Browse our website and choose the item or items you would like to put on lay-by.
2 At checkout, select Bank Deposit as your payment method.
3 Send us your order details via email at info@houseofmaria.com or call us on 071 889 8638.
4 We will confirm your order and send you: the total amount payable, our banking details, and your personalised payment schedule.
5 Make your first payment — 33% deposit. This secures your item immediately.
6 Pay the remaining balance over 2 equal monthly instalments.
7 Once fully paid, we ship your order or prepare it for collection. It's yours!
